God's timing may feed your doubts about His Faithfulness. When you don't see your needs met on your timetable, you may feel that He, too, has let you down. How often I hear, people saying, "God's promises may work for other people, but not for me."

My answer to that is, "God may be slow, but He's never late."

Learn to wait for Him. Trust that in His perfect time, He is faithful! He wants to fulfill every promise so that you will rejoice in His faithfulness at night, able to sing as the psalmist sang:

"It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night...For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD..." (Psalm 92:1-2 and 4a, NIV).

Heavenly Father, I know that all the unfaithfulness and hurt I have received from my fellow man do not apply to You. Forbid my attitude toward them from blocking me from believing in and receiving from You. Cleanse me now. Break down the roadblocks. For You are faithful, and in Your time, You will never let me down! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
