The World's First Women-Led Energy Fund opens its doors for Female-Focussed Ventures

Tribr becomes the first Energy Fund in the World to target Female-Focussed Energy Ventures, with the main focus on the Renewable Energy Technologies.

If you are female, chances of your venture getting funded are almost close to non-existent. This shows that the World has no confidence in women. The Tribr Energy Fund for Women was founded on the premise to change this status quo and rewrite the narrative.

The Fund is set to officially open its doors to individual Investors in May 2023 and plans to launch its first 50MW Solar Farm/Solar Park project in Western Cape, South Africa worth R2.2 billion ($120m) in August 2023.  The Solar farm will power three units, a Solar PV panels manufacturing plant that will produce 30 modules/hour and employ 15 workers, an Atmospheric Water harvesting Plant which will produce 70,000 litres per day while employing 25 workers and a Data Centre that will employ 15 people.

"There is more power in the Collective but greater impact in the Womenity Tribe.  Sadly, if you are female, your odds of getting funded are almost none and nothing much has changed in the past 10 years.  This shows through the Global statistics where we now see a steady decline in the funding for Female-Founded Ventures globally.  VC funding towards women has declined globally from 3% in 2013 to 1.9% in 2022.  The World considers funding in Women high risk, even so, 1.9% is extremely deplorable," said Tami Mase, the founder of Tribr Energy Fund.

The Response from Beta Testing of the Tribr Energy Fund Platform in October 2022 was extremely positive, and this led to this highly anticipated inaugural launch, a solution to the Global Energy problems.  The World is currently in Energy Crisis and Tribr stands right in the middle of a perfect solution by creating a Peer to Peer S.E.E.D. (Sustainable Energy Empowerment Development) Fund.

The Continental Africa, having the most female entrepreneurs in the World and over 60% capacity to harvest solar energy,  stands to gain the most from the Energy Fund. To achieve its full  mandate, Tribr has partnered with the Energy RD institute and manufacturer of Rivar Energy systems, an Energy Training partner for IPPs, Installers, Site Auditors and Sales Teams and a global Technology partner for the development of the Token ICO, Web3 and Blockchain Platform for the Tribr Energy Fund.
